My triangles for Yarndale Granny Bunting

Here is my small contribution to the Granny Bunting of Yarndale event.

I learned to crochet about 8 months ago and eversince I'm hooked to it! So when I saw the first introduction to "Granny Bunting for Yarndale" in Attic 24, I wanted to participate.
My triangles are made of acrylic yarn and the colours I've chosen are of my favourites. The vivid ones, like purple, turquise etc...

... and the vintage colours, which I also use to make my first granny square blanket, about which I' m going to say more in the future ( I hope).

This is my finishing touch, a small crochet rose.

So, these is my attempt to take part at the Yarndale Granny Bunting. These triangles are made with love and  will be packed and sent to Yarndale Monday morning.

Girls I hope you like them!!!!!!!!!

A weekend away

Last weekend was really relaxing. It was a kind of mini holidays away from every day's routine. We stayed in a nice hotel in Rhodes and we enjoyed the sea with a few good friends. The children had a great time swimming and playing all day long but the swimming pool was my son's favourite.

I always prefer the sea and every spot with shadow. Like the internet cafe! It was our meeting point and sometimes me and my friend were relaxing and chatting there while our kids were occcupied playing ping pong.

Like all nice things it ended quickly, but any way we had a nice time there and we might do it again! There is still a lot of summer time to come before the school opening! Lovely flowers don't you agree? I wish I had something like that in my yard!

My little vintage piece of furniture!

Isn't it just lovely? Still a little bit empty, but  I think it looks nice the way it is right now!
